i felt like updating my blurb, and thought i would do a post at the same time. this is my first account post. im fairly low level, but i play plenty of games, so i am usually pretty close to par on my votes and ratings (except once where i accidentally voted 10 on a kitty kat krew sumbission)

i beleive in freedom. not freedom from government, since government is one of the largest things that gives and protects our freedoms. but freedom of goals. i beleive that if someone has a goal, politicall corectness shouldnt get in the way of them following their goal, unless it makes it impossible for someone else to follow their own.

i beleive in God, and i am an avid christian (God is one of the few words i go out of my way to capitallize on newgrounds unless i want my post or PM to have a lot of sway). i am not a religeous zealot, but i do get involved in the ocassionall debate (i usually try to avoid them since if two people are set-in-stone enough to debate, its probly pointless since neither is likely to change their opinion). i dont try to force my religeon on other people.

i am anti-homosexuall to an extent. i dont hate people for being gay or bi-sexuall. but when people try to force it on me, i do get angry. i dont attempt to push straightness on gay or bi-sexualls, and i accept the fact that they are, while holding no grudges against them for it. all i ask of them in return, is that they do the same for me.

i think that people who hold commitment and promises are really great. if you make a promise, you should follow through on it. its no better than lieing if you make a promise without an intention to follow through. in fact, i think its worse.

on that subject, liers. if people cant trust each other, then we are no better than cannibals. the only reasons to lie (not acceptable reasons, resons people do it for) are to escape punishment for something else bad, to keep your agenda hidden, or to force someone else to stay in the dark. they are all bad reasons. there is no reason to lie.

i beleive there is a fine line between fighting and self defence. i see no problem with fighting back against someone if they attack you without a reason. if someone does that, then they are horrible. break bones, cause pain, but dont kill. life is beutifull. death is not. people shouldnt kill other people.

i enjoy playing sports with my childhood friends and rivals (i feel that there is no need to force yourself to distinguish between them. if two people are mutuall rivals, then they help each other to constantly suceed. that is something friends do.)

i do play soccer and football and race with my friends when we have time, but i am a complete nerd as well. a nerd isnt someone who wears glasses and and talks with a flem slurr. its someone who is intelligent and doesnt care about social standing. its someone who doese things with their time that they enjoy, not that make them popular. i know many people who are nerds and popular at the same time.

next up, poplularity.
i feel that there are two kinds of popularities. the first is the good kind. the kind of person who has tons of friends and is nice to people. the second is the bad kind. the kind of people who everyone knows, but few like. the kind who get satisfaction from putting others down (the classic mean girl, jackass jock movie cliche). anyone who gets their happyness by ruining others, is like a vampire or theif. if you cant have something without stealing it from someone else who earned it, then live without it.

i think that hard work is something that should be respected. if you see someone giving something their all, then either compliment them on it, or help them with it.

i play video games, watch t.v., and especially like anime. that doesnt mean i dont have a life. it just means i spend my free time doing things that i enjoy. you shouldnt chastize people for their tastes. nor should you try to force people to accept yours. your taste is yours, and theirs is theirs. thats the way it is, thats the way it always has been, and thats the way it should stay.

people dont realize this, but words can hurt. many of you have heard the phrase "the pen is mightier than the sword." THAT is bullshit. i would not like to go up against someone weilding a sword, while i was fighting with a pen. however, words have great power as well. the power to hurt, or heal. if you are smart, you will learn how to talk to people. this is a great power. but its alost a power that is often abused for the purpose of trying to manipulate people. people who use their tounge and knowledge to lie, cheat, steal, or gain from it at the expense of others are like supervillains. people who use their tounge and knowledge to help, heal, and comfort are like superheroes.

i respect atheists more than any other religeon besides my own. but only for the fact that it takes more faith to beleive in something that i beleve has no proof, and was only created to console people who couldnt accept that there is someone more powerfull than them on all levels.

i dont think slaughter houses are humane, but im neither out in the streets with a sign saying "ban the slaughter houses", nor protesting quietly from my own home throught vegitarianism. i eat beef, chicken, fish, bacon, ham (not pork though, i think that particuallar [im pretty sure i spelled that wrong] cooking method tastes disgusting.), turkey, eggs, cheese, and i drink milk. because its healthy and honestly, there is nothing wrong with us eating animals (in my opinion of course [since im getting tired of typing "in my opinion" lets just assume that everything i say from here on out is simply my opinion.]) since we are on the top of the food chain. there are also activists who say "we arent really on the top of the food chain, we just have technology!!!11oneonetwo", and i respond by saying "there are animals with technology too, and if us using technology is unfair, then snakes using poison, spiders using webs, tigers using claws, and monkeys climbing trees to get food is unfair too. but you dont see them stopping. and untill they sing a treaty that says we stop using technology if they stop using all those things, im gonna keep eating meat."

i dont think that war is necisarry, since things can usually be solved with words, and honestly, guns, bombs (excluding explosives), and missiles are the most unseemly parts of technology as we know it. but since humans are ambitious, violent, and intelligent (a threesome that is not very well matched for those involved), and since much other technology as we know it would be impossible wihout many of these developments, i think its something we have to stomach.

now, i might seem like a hippy from what i have said. im not. i support violent video gaming, and moderated violence to solve problems with blockheads. but i would prefer not to be involved in violence that required me to kill. in fact, i would flat out refuse. nature, and things like bears, sharks, and deseises take more than enough lives as it is. why should we go out of our way to take more of our own?

now i might seem over emotionall. i usually try not to let emotion cloud my judgment (as is be the only thing) but its always a factor. the emotions of myself, and those involved. i also try to be fair.

while i do build relationships (as in friendships, not romances) over the internet, they almost always stay that way (one exception was when i was in 7th grade, and a friend from a game i play transfered into our class, and we were online telling how stupid our sub [the same sub] was that day. then we realized, since we both live in california, and our stories matched completely [up to the period of the day] that we had to be in the same class. we are good friends now, and do all kinds of stuff)

as far as adult content goes, i dont support it, but do enjoy it. i think that its the main reason that 13 year old girls are pregnant with 14 year old boys childs. but that doesnt mean its bad. just because people cant restrain themselves, doesnt mean that sex is bad. if everyone in a generation were do suddenly decide sex was bad and not mate, then in about 100 years there would be about 5000 humans on earth (kind of a large number out of context, but compared with the current number of nearly 7 billion, small, meager, insignifigant. take your pick) but i also think that porn and other online perversions are no substitute for being out there in the wide world making friends and looking for a girlfriend. its more of a workaround. if someone prefers looking at perverts taping themselves having sex to finding someone to have sex with, they are pathetic.

people should learn to accept others rather than change them. change is naturall, but if its forced, its like forcing hurricanes to happen (that scenario is impossible, but still a good comparison i think). people change physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. but people dont usually change into different people. if someone doese something you dont like, and you dont have to be involved in it, dont get involved in it. one of the many simplicities people often refuse to accept.

many times life is lived the way you look at it (i wouldnt dare use the silver lining cliche). your self image is just as, if not more, important than your externall image. and not only is it more important, but your self image also affects your external image. if you are happy and proud, you walk around smiling with your head held high. people look at you and think "hmm. . . always smiling, doesnt seem to have any regrets, i think they would be a good person to become frieneds with.". if you are sad and disatisfied with your self image, you walk around looking like you dont enjoy life, and generally sag your shoulders and look at your feet. not only dose this make people steer clear of you, but it also affects their happieness, and in turn, their self image. if you cant be happy for yourself, be happy that today probly wont be your trip on the river of styx. if you cant be happy for that, be happy for everyone else around you.

love doesnt mean lust. they are different entirely. they are like white grape juice, and purple grape juice (couldnt think of anything simple thats any better, sorry :P) they are often mixed, and that is not a problem. but they are often separate as well. personally, i love my friends, and family, and my dogs. that doesnt mean i stay up at night thinking about how i want to have an intercourse with them.
a good relationship is built on love, not lust. if your the kind of person who can love, only lust, then remove yourself from society in general and slake your lust at brothels with whores, not real men and women who want to be loved.

even if you dont believe in God, or any religeon, dont feel that you should berate people for doing that. outside of pangantry and wicca and others of the sort (i dont consider them religeons, since they are blatantly evil), most religeons center themselves around living good lives. is that a bad concept?

i dont hunt personally, but i enjoy using guns and my compound bow at shooting ranges. the slogan "guns dont kill people; people kill people" is about 50% hard truth, and 50% bullshit. without guns and other weapons that require no skill to weild, 90% of the people who fight in armies wouldnt.
i admire people who are excellent marksmans with guns, but guns are one of the weapons that require the least skill of all. also, they are simply a waste of recourses.gunpowder is not reusable, and gun shells and bullets are recyclable, with byproducts, but they still require a lot of work to constantly make over and over again. even a compound bow requires more skill than a gun. bullets in a usuall distance for the unskilled, go straight, and even wind (usually) poses little problem. while arrows, require you to measure the power of your shot, calculate for wind and drop, and aim. then come the weapons that are now used for more recreationall purposes (like throwing knives). these require the most skill to use of all, and that is why they are never emplyed in actuall military operations. because the vast majority of humans refuse to learn a skill that takes time, and many of those that try fail.

i am good at video games, but definitley not professionall level. i would say i am probly a bit above greenhorn level. on games i play alot, i usually win. i also like board strategy games. i play chess, checkers, go (chinese equivelant of chess [its been around longer, and i think its more fun.]), games that require computing power like scrabble, and long term strategy games like monopoly (i know, it seems stupid, but it counts). real time strategy games are my favorite. starcraft and warcraft (the originall RTS type not world of warcraft) are probly my favorites. they combine strategy, timing, luck, and technology/magic in one fun filled package!

i am not a womanizer, but i honestly prefer the company of women to the company of men quite often. not just because many women are beutifull beond fathoming, but also because they tend to be less off the wall, testosterone fueled, or "im the toughest" types. i admire that. i think that just because someone is a different sex from you, doesnt mean they are different. i know plenty of girls that play sports, and i know quite a few guys who sew and crochete. honstly my favorite color is pink (an not for the naughty reason :3). i dont particularly like pale pinks, but neon pink and hot pink KICK ASS.

my favorite animal is a falcoln. because they are fast as HELL. they are also conservitave as far as hunting. they dont trap mice for fun and then eat them like cats. the see the pray, go up 50 feet from where they are, and dive them. then they just hope they hit before the thing has time to react so it cushions their fall, since a 200 mph nosedive is really hard to pull out of, and anything goeing 200 miles an hour hitting rock is gonna splat.

i have a couple odd hobbies, like juggling, and card sleights (not tricks like magicians, but casino tricks like air shuffling and hand trade [not cheating :P the thing where you take the deck and bend it in the middle, and move your thumb up so that the cards release tension in that direction flying to the other hand.]) i have also tried to take up legeridiman (coin sleights) but havent had much luck with it.

this is kind of an introduction, and if you actually read that much, i really thank you. ill try to reply to most of the replies, but no guaruntees. after all, my fingers might be sore tomorrow from typin this much, and i dont plan on replying to trolls (disagreements maybe, but not people who are negative for no reason, since i dont like people like that).

my name comes from a character in a starfox game i played when i was a kid. panther rose. the was the ace pilot of team wolf, and so i became acerose (the video game that got me hooked was strikers 1995, a piloting game, and dogfight games have always had a special place in my heart. i made the highscores on strikers 1995 quite a bit [2nd place once] and by the time i started making the highscores, i had already played the starfox game and decided panther kicked much ass. so i took ace, his position, and rose, his last name, and used "ACE" as my highscores alias.)
